How It Started
Forty years ago, long before dashboards, digital audits and online training portals, our story began with a single care home and a simple belief: people deserve to be looked after with dignity, compassion and consistency.
One of our founders took a leap of faith and purchased their very first service. It was not part of a grand corporate plan. It was personal. It was about improving standards, supporting staff and creating a place where residents truly felt at home. Over the decades that followed, that one service grew into a family run group of care homes, still led by the same values that shaped those early days.
Care is not something we studied from the outside. It is something we have lived.
Built In Care, Not Outside It
Alongside our residential services, another of our founders went on to build and run a large domiciliary care business. They experienced first hand the pressures of managing rotas, compliance, training, recruitment and ever changing regulation. They understand what it means to be on call at night, to prepare for inspection, to support families through difficult conversations and to balance compassion with commercial reality.
Our directors have stood in front of inspectors. They have prepared evidence for CQC visits. They have experienced both the pride of a positive report and the intense scrutiny that comes with being accountable for people’s lives and wellbeing. We know what “inspection ready” truly means because we have had to be.
That lived experience is the foundation of everything we do.
Why We Built CorrectCare
We did not set out to build just another software company. We set out to solve the problems we faced ourselves. The paperwork that never seemed to end. The disconnected systems. The anxiety before inspections. The frustration of chasing training, policies and HR records across spreadsheets and filing cabinets.
So we built something better.
Today, we combine four decades of hands on care experience with modern, intuitive technology designed specifically for the care sector.
